I love these activities for both homeschooling and traditional teaching because most of the activities work for a range of ages.
This is great for homeschool because you could choose one activity that’s the *exact same*, and it’ll work for your 8-year-old and your 11-year-old perfectly!
It’s also a huge time saver for traditional school teachers because not only are y’all crazy busy around this time of year, but these ranged activities will help you cover a lot of bases with easy differentiation options.

This Christmas math activity asks students to figure out who stole Santa’s sleigh, created by Box of Possibilities Math and Science Fun.
Students will complete worksheets that are their clues to solve the mystery.
By solving the four clues, they’ll figure out the mystery thief that stole Santa’s sleigh!
The four clues are a hidden multiplication message, magic to fly the sleigh, fractions- fuel in the suspects snowmobile, and bribing the guard- adding money (cents and decimals included).

7th-10th Graphing Slope Intercept Christmas Math Activities
Amazing Mathematics created a fantastic, engaging activity that lets students strengthen their skills in graphing lines in slope intercept form.
Students start with a graph featuring 12 elves and 12 equations.
For each equation, they’ll graph a line to “catch” an elf by running the line through any part of its body.
They’ll then write the equation next to the elf that was “caught.”
Students will need to take their time and get their work exactly right, because each line should pass through only one elf. If a line crosses more than one elf, the student will need to adjust for accuracy.
7th-10th Missing Angles Game Christmas Math Activities
Do your kids love escape rooms?
